From a single booklet

You don’t need a big print run to get a well-made booklet. We can print as few as one, and we print in-house in Murray Bridge, so a short run is a normal job for us. Tell us how many you need and we’ll send you a quick quote.

Sizes and stocks

A4 and A5 are the most common sizes, and we can go smaller or make a custom size to suit your job. Our standard stocks are 100gsm uncoated or 150gsm gloss for the pages, both with a 300gsm cover. We also print on a range of gloss, satin and uncoated stocks in different thicknesses, so we can tailor the booklet to suit.

Saddle stitching

Saddle stitching uses metal wire staples on the fold of the booklet, so it sits flat when opened. It suits smaller page counts, 60 pages and under, and it’s the most cost-effective way to bind a booklet or catalogue.

PUR binding

PUR binding is a form of perfect binding. The pages and cover are glued together at the spine for a strong, durable bind. It suits booklets with a higher number of pages.

Wire binding

Wire binding also suits larger page counts. Coated metal wires are looped through punched holes at the spine. Unlike PUR binding, a wire-bound document can lie flat when open.

Finishing

Laminate adds a layer of protection, and our different films give different feels and finishes. Specialty toners in clear, white, neon pink, gold or silver can highlight a logo, image or bold type.

Common questions

Can you print a short run of booklets?

Yes. We can print as few as one booklet, and short runs are a big part of what we do. Tell us how many you need and we’ll send you a quick quote.

What sizes and stocks can I choose?

A4 and A5 are the most common, and we can do smaller or custom sizes. As standard, the pages are 100gsm uncoated or 150gsm gloss with a 300gsm cover, and we can tailor the stock to suit your booklet.

Which binding should I choose?

Page count is the main guide. Saddle stitching suits 60 pages and under. For more pages, PUR gives you a strong glued spine, and wire binding lets the document lie flat when open.

Can you help with the layout?

Yes. Our in-house designers can create your booklet or fix your existing artwork, and you approve a proof before anything is printed.

How long will my booklets take?

Tell us your deadline when you ask for a quote and we’ll confirm timing. We print in-house in Murray Bridge, so if timing is tight, call us.
