Screen printing
Ink is pushed through a mesh screen onto the garment. That gives strong colour, good opacity and a smooth finish that holds up to regular wear and washing. It’s cost-effective, particularly for larger quantities, and it works well with solid colours and simpler designs. We manage artwork setup, colour matching and final application in-house.
Direct to film (DTF)
Your design is printed onto a specialised film, then heat applied to the fabric. The result is vibrant colour and fine detail with a soft, durable finish. It handles complex logos, gradients and multi-colour artwork that may not suit traditional methods, and it works on cotton, polyester and blended fabrics. We apply DTF transfers in-house, on small and larger runs.
Which one suits your job?
Choose screen printing for teamwear, event shirts, staff uniforms and promotional campaigns where you want the same bold design across a larger quantity. Choose DTF when your artwork has gradients, lots of colours or fine detail, or for tees, hoodies and promotional apparel in smaller runs. Not sure? Send us your artwork and we’ll tell you which suits it.
What about embroidery and sublimation?
Embroidery is done in-house too, and it suits logos on polos, shirts, jackets and caps. Sublimation embeds ink into polyester fabric, which suits sportswear and all-over prints. It’s completed at the factory when the garment is made, not in-house.
Common questions
Should I choose screen printing or DTF?
Screen printing suits bold designs with solid colours, particularly in larger quantities. DTF suits gradients, fine detail and multi-colour artwork. Send us your artwork and we’ll tell you which suits it.
Is the printing done in-house?
Yes. Screen printing and DTF are both done in-house in Murray Bridge. Sublimation is the exception, as it’s done at the factory when the garment is made.
What fabrics can DTF go on?
DTF suits cotton, polyester and blended fabrics, so it works well on tees, hoodies and promotional apparel.
Will the print last?
Screen printing holds up well to regular wear and washing, and DTF gives a soft, durable finish. We’ll recommend the method that suits your garment and how it’s worn.
